a few days ago, i was talking to one of my friends on msn. and we got onto the subject of what i would do in the future. i admitted that i originally wanted to do something with music, even though my parents would [strongly] prefer me to do pharmacy. he responded by saying that i should follow my dream, instead of pleasing my parents. after failing to convince me, he settled in the middle and told me i could do both if i really wanted to do. major in pharmacy, and (attempt to) "write music in my own time, but do it for real as well."

Yeah. I think THAT's where most people give up sadly. They expect too much from the first step.

thank you, linus. for teaching me that the first step doesn't always have to be perfect. for inspiring me. for helping me start building my own kingdom.
