i am mean.
Saturday, March 6, 2010 @ 12:09 PM
My parents told me last night that I've gotten meaner. The way I talk, the way I behave, the way I look. They said they miss how I used to be when I was younger. That kind of made me sad and angry -- sad because they feel this way, and angry because
they made me this way.
I don't know what to do. I just feel trapped all the time nowadays.

I've been so fucking cranky lately; sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with me. I seem to get pissed at the little things, and my dad has appeared to be really annoying to me recently. This week is stressful.
Also, we got another dog. Dad got jealous that the dog liked the family but not him. His name is Mochi. He cost $950. As cute as he is, he is not worth it. Although, I still love him.
Not the cutest or the best picture of him actually. But whatever.
First day of school after vacation is tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to it. Didn't finish my shitload of history homework, and am only halfway on my English essay. It's 1AM. Damn, I hate my procrastination.
And I really want a Wii.

Seriously, look at how fucking adorable he is. I could just pick him up and put him in my pocket! (Not really.) We got him yesterday on Valentine's Day, and he was born on Thanksgiving Day. (: He's a mati-shih tzu. We named him Tofu because of his colors, haha! We almost named him Mochi. ♥

My new favorite sweater from Forever 21. ♥
I think I will always love my Disneyland sweater the most though -- so warm and so many memories!
Thank God midterms are finally over. I swear, this is the most I've been so stressed out over exams. I did pretty well on most of them though. English - 94. Pre-calculus - 90. Physics - 84. French & APUSH haven't been graded yet. |:
And haha, Ha (my aunt) and her boyfriend, Huy, are so funny. I had a great time with them this weekend. Maybe I'll share pictures later.

i love stress. i really do. i love to cram in my studying before the exam as much as i possibly can. and i adore doing 945874392873 problems for a take home test for pre-calculus. i also love to write an essay for english and study seventeen chapters for ap us history. i love being frustrated when i realize i have so little time, but so much studying to do.
stress is really great. -facedesk-
012610 - french midterm. eh, not so bad for the first day.
012710 - english midterm. pre-calc midterm. kill me.
012810 - ap us history midterm. -dies- thank god i don't have another exam.
012910 - physics midterm. i'm hoping this is going to be easier than i think.
and today, i was so hyper because i drank a lot of coffee. i wouldn't stop talking or shaking. never am i going to drink anything bigger than a size small coffee
ever again. i crashed and burned at around 1:15PM. french class was fun today though because it was like a free study period. me and my friends just talked and joked around. i laughed a lot more than usual today it seems. maybe things are finally turning around.

Today, I was supposed to go ice skating in Boston with some friends, but it's all rainy and snowy, so I canceled on them. T:
Instead, I stayed home today. Except my power was off for hours, so I couldn't do anything. I was so bored. And then I realized how attached I am to technology. I'm so lame.
Also, I really hate that song by the way (points to title).

winter wonderland.
Sunday, January 17, 2010 @ 11:05 PM
today, we went snowboarding. we meaning, me, van, alice, my aunt, ha, and her boyfriend, huy. it was fun. it's not the first time we've been snowboarding. our first couple of times was the winter of 2008 i think? but yeah, we didn't go at all last year because of our conflicting schedules. but we were all able to go today. (: as i said earlier though, it was fun. more fun than the last times we had went, maybe because we improved as snowboarders and didn't fall as often (although we still fell quite a lot, haha.) none of us brought our camera along because we usually don't take many pictures anyways, but maybe next time.
after snowboarding, we went back to ha's house to rest a little, and then we went to an asian buffet, haha. the food was alright, but nothing special really.
yesterday, we were also at ha's house. she had a little church gathering thing, and there was good food, so we came. xD afterward, we went to red mango to get some frozen yogurt. it was alright, but i'm not a big fan of yougurt, so i didn't enjoy it as much. xD huy went home after that, and us girls went back to ha's house to prepare for snowboarding the following day.
long time no update. i've been writing about california and saving drafts because my experience is so long, so i think i get lazy to blog after so yeah, rofl. but expect a california update soon, or not very soon! (:

birthday gifts.
Tuesday, December 1, 2009 @ 9:26 PM
Wahhh, one of my closest friends, Michelle aka Meeshy (;D), is turning eighteen, and I need to think of something special for her birthday. We're going out to Boston for the day with some other close friends, but I don't know what to do for her birthday present. |: I want to do something creative and memorable for her, but I can't think of many ideas. xD We have a close group of four friends -- me, her, my sister, and another friend, Brenda. For Brenda's 18th birthday back in July, us three made a scrapbook, and each filled out a page of it, putting pictures, and writing a nice little note, leaving the rest of the book to be finished by her as she desires. And then we each got her individual gifts. It wasn't anything great, but it was a special moment for all of us, because we put our time into making it. xD
Now that it's Meeshy's birthday, I also want to do something special. The only idea I can think of is using a star jar, and putting some memories on little notes in there, and little stars too. I was thinking about giving her some straws so that she could make some stars too, and also each of us get individual gifts, but I don't know if that will be good enough? ;ALKJD;FKLAJSDKLJF RAWR. I DON'T KNOW. I LACK THE CREATIVE JUICES NOWADAYS. If you have any more gift suggestions, please let me know! Hahah.
Aaaaaand, my first SATs are this Saturday. I'm kind of nervous, and I haven't started studying yet. T: Damn my procrastination. Must. Study. Soon! I'm so scared I'm going to do poorly on it, and my parents will be disappointed in me. I hate it when people are disappointed in me.

the "meep" phenomenon.
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 @ 4:03 PM
You know what's really annoying? When kids at your school are real assholes who disrespect their teacher. You know what is even more annoying? When the news show up at your school wanting more information on this, and write a story on it -- most of which is totally blown out of proportion and not even true to the story. The most annoying thing, though, is when these news circulate the globe, and everyone is obnoxious because they think they know the whole story, when in reality, they're being just as much of asses as the two original kids who started this all.
Long story short -- two kids at my high school were being disrespectful to a teacher here. Calling him names, stupid stuff. They were using the word "meep" to harass him, which the teacher obviously disliked, so he complained to the principal, and then BAM -- the word is banned at DHS. But the students also messed with the teacher's car. So therefore, the teacher sued them. Chaos ensues. Local news and huge news stations send their journalists to the school to get the inside scoop and yet, when it's time to publish the story, they totally make up a new one almost:
(click here or here for videos about it). So what about it? Nothing really, except that this situation really gets on my nerves, so this is just a little rant. No need to read this if you don't want to, but here's my opinion: yes, it was totally stupid in the first place to ban meep, and then giving punishment for saying the word. The school administration screwed up on that part, and should have seen that it would backfire on them when kids would start saying it more just to piss them off. Instead, they should have punished the students harassing the teacher instead of banning a meaningless words. However, what's done is done, and that should have been the end of it.
But nooooooo, the news stations thought that this would be such an interesting and awesome story to write about, and arrive at our school, cameras handy, and interview students about what they think. It's funny how the students they choose are the lowlifes and morons that think they are so cool by saying the word "meep," and end up getting disciplined for it. (I repeat, I do think that it is stupid that you can get in trouble for just saying a word, but the news make it seem like these kids are little "angels" and that Murray
(the principal) is an idiot when in actuality, the real idiots are the douche bags in the beginning.) Plus, these news coverages can't even get the story right! They say that the word is banned because "a biology teacher felt threatened by a group of student saying the word, meep." Yeah, because people feel real threatened by such words. >___> HEY NEWS PEOPLE, how about something more logical like, the students were threatening to the teacher not because they were using the word, meep, but because they were harassing him, and messing with his car?! It's like, try and research this shit before you publish it? My band teacher (I LOVE HIM) is about to go ballistic on the media because of the crap they're producing and he wants write a letter to them explaining how stupid they are. The whole band is supporting him all the way, haha! It's funny, because they'd probably do a news report on that too. >___> And really, how is this story interesting in any way? Yeah sure, it's comical to some to find out that a high school bans a meaningless word, but for this piece of news to travel around the world?
(Literally, not exaggerating. It's been across the USA, and international countries like New Zealand, Japan, Germany, France, etc) It's a completely ridiculous story that should not have even made the news coverage. Aren't there more important things to report on, instead of focusing on a little Danvers story? What has the world come to? AND ALSO, the morons who started this think they are "oh so cool" for being famous. NEWS FLASH (hah, the news): YOU'RE NOT. Nao stfu and gtfo plz.
And hey, annoying netizens around the world, stop being such ignorant fucks and emailing the DHS staff. Sending a mass email to the faculty with the words meep does not solve anything! And if you think you're being a smartass, you're not. You're being a dumbass. And sending it to the MIDDLE SCHOOL is so lame too. It's like really, how old are you? As they say, act your age, not your fucking shoe size. On the Meep Facebook page (I KNOW. SO LAME TO MAKE A PAGE. The girl who made it is so annoying too. -____-), apparently there's like a 30 year old man who joined it and is giving shit to the faculty. It's like, honestly? The staff, especially the principal, is already getting so much shit from the idiotic people who I call my "classmates," and he does not need any of your unnecessary meepage. So, please follow the other morons and gtfo, kthx.
Ugh, ranting takes me so long, and I always get so fired up and start swearing. People suck.

last night, there was a thunderstorm. i never thought of it until now, but thunderstorms are so interesting. o_______o the raindrops beating against my window was surprisingly comforting. i fell asleep instantly. and unsurprisingly, the weather today was sunny. new england weather drives me crazy.
on another note, alice, my sister, got her wisdom teeth pulled out today. i couldn't help but laugh at her. xD it seems so scary though. O:
and i've been wanting a dslr lately. O: i've done a lot of research on it, and i'm thinking of getting a nikon d40. it's a good beginner's camera, although lots of money. however, not nearly expensive as some others. xD to spend or not to spend, that is the question. |:

a few days ago, i was talking to one of my friends on msn. and we got onto the subject of what i would do in the future. i admitted that i originally wanted to do something with music, even though my parents would [strongly] prefer me to do pharmacy. he responded by saying that i should follow my dream, instead of pleasing my parents. after failing to convince me, he settled in the middle and told me i could do both if i really wanted to do. major in pharmacy, and (attempt to) "write music in my own time, but do it for real as well."
>'^-_.<> says (5:32 PM):
Don't see it as your hobby, it's your future. It's your kingdom. Kingdoms take time to build up.
~ガラガラGO! kathy。 says (5:33 PM):
okay.
>'^-_.<> says (5:33 PM):
Like, look at me, I have spent four months alredy, and I have done like 5 %. xD
>'^-_.<> says (5:34 PM):
But the first step is the hardest.
-fast forward forty minutes-
~ガラガラGO! kathy。 says (6:10 PM):
i think i get it. you just have to take the first step, no matter how bad it is. and from there you can improve. (:
>'^-_.<> says (6:10 PM):
Yeah. I think THAT's where most people give up sadly. They expect too much from the first step.
thank you, linus. for teaching me that the first step doesn't always have to be perfect. for inspiring me. for helping me start building my own kingdom.
